Episode 89: How to step into your success as mom regardless of naysayers, with the Little Milkbar creator mompreneur Lindsay White
Episode Description
Today’s guest has a story that a lot of you mamas can relate to.
I am sure a lot of us can attest to someone saying a snide remark or commenting on your choice to breastfeed in public. And even if you didn’t breastfeed, there is sadly still plenty of judgment passed on to mothers in public on lots of different subjects. But this particular breastfeeding instance is one that actually led to the creation of today’s guest’s entire company, mission and business.
Lindsay White, mompreneur of two and creator of the Little Milk Bar had a woman tell her to “go do that in the bathroom” at a wedding while breastfeeding her son, and instead of a quick retort, she turned her frustration at this scenario into an empowered company for mamas.
She is now changing the lives of more mothers than she ever could have imagined.
Lindsay’s company offers nursing shirts and products like the “Boob Baby Blanket” and the “Milk Maker Tee” that empower women to “drop the cover and feed their babies when they are hungry. Lindsay advocates “Because no mother should have to feed their baby in a bathroom stall… yuck!”.
This mama of two who lives in Utah with her husband believes in teaching our children by example, not just by our words as well as showing our children the importance of kindness and compassion for all living beings. She as also fired up that any of us can 100% create a legitimate business or job out of helping and empowering others. She certainly is testament to it.
Today she is going to share about how she personally empowers mamas through her business, why we should follow our truth and how to be a mompreneur without burning out.
